Q: Can i still get a lawyer

i want to know if i got into a car accident and i cant work due to it (my hip hurts bad with medicine and my back is hurting real bad) the people from progressive gave me 500$ but ive been going to the doctors like they ask for months now and im still having pain what can i do ? im not able to stand long periods of time due to accident the ssi people denied help why i dont know and the person from progressive told me to get a lawyer
