Q: How can I get emancipated with enlisting and getting accepted into the military? Can I do it without parental consent?
I'm 17, im getting a job and hopefully an apartment, I got accepted into the Navy and I am trying to get emancipated. Do I need to take the paperwork to court? I need help.

Ohio does not permit emancipation except in certain circumstances, like entering the military. There is no court action you can file. See this link for more information:
