Tampa, FL asked in Child Support for Florida

Q: The mother of my child left home one morning with my 3 year old son and flew out of state to Nantucket from Florida. And

I haven't seen them since. I have tried to get a hold of them and her stepdad started with the," restraining order against me" I don't want to lose my son Wyatt and I want to reconcile under one condition that she gets professional help with her mental health issues. I'm saying she wants to be a stay at home mom and my son is in daycare all day and when I get home from work, 7-3, the dishes still in the sink and no dinner and she won't do anything all day. I'm doing the laundry and cleaning and shopping. She brought a kitty home and I Clean the litter box and feed her and she said she would rub the cat's face in her vomit and smashed her against the refrigerator. I saw her kick the cat when it would rub against her feet. She never liked Cat's and I don't want any! I don't know what to do about it

A: File suit against the mother for custody or visitation. You have six months from when they left in which to do so in Florida.
