Fort Worth, TX asked in Traffic Tickets for Louisiana

Q: I have a charge for possesion on 2 driver's license.

But my drivers license is not from two different states or any different information, same name, address etc. I had misplaced it one day. I know it's illegal to drive without one so, I went purchase one at my local dmv and got a duplicate of my drivers license. Well I walked in one of the gas stations I usually go to and the girl thats working the register look at me ask my name and I told her. She told me we have your license right here and handed it to me. I don't if this where I went wrong because I didn't know it was wrong I had put one in my glove compartment of my vehicle next to all my vehicle legal info, and I tried to keep the other one on me at all times just in case. When the officers found them they did keep one so I didn't have two anymore.

A: Your attorney may very well get one charge dismissed.
