Q: can a person be trialed while being treated for mental disorders.
my son is getting evaluated for mental disorders in which he is asking for help..same time he is on probation for a crime he plead guilty for. Which was a procession charge in which the substance was found in his vehicle along side a passenger who had prior convictions..He is seeking help from a professional dr. for evaluations for depression
A: A person can stand for trial if he/she has mental disorders. A person cannot be tried if he/she is found mentally incompetent by a mental health expert.
