Q: so i was just charged with possession of marijuana(113 grams)and drug paraphernalia(scale)in somerset nj what is next

i was passing by nj heading home to pa from new when i was stopped on the road for a traffic violation , i dont live in nj and was never arrested in the state i wanted to know what are my best and worse out comes fighting a case like this out in this county , i was never convicted of any felonies just a misdemeanor for a small amount of weed in newyork a few years ago , as i was told this is a 4th degree crime . i wanted to know the chances of this being an easy case to beat and what would be the outcomes ? is it possible for the court to drop the charges to a misdemeanor ? is it a bad look that i dont even live in the state of nj ? what should i be looking forward to ?
