Alvin, TX asked in Probate for Texas

Q: someone has a deceased person's will that is not listed in that will and has no reason to have it. How can I get it?

my grandpa recently passed away and his step-son from one of his marriages came and got his car, his money out of bank account, and his will (the 1 and only copy) and other important papers. Also he did a change of address for my grandpa's mail to be sent out to his address. How can I legally get the will back and the car, papers, money, and other property? Is there a legal way to make the step-son give the will back and other property?

A: Hire a local probate lawyer to file an Order to Show Cause requiring the fellow to explain his actions (and inactions) to the judge.
