Prairieville, LA asked in Criminal Law for Louisiana

Q: Do they have to prove possssion, and discharge of firearm in louisiana to be charged with aggrivated assault of firearm?

Was charged of aggrivated assault of firearm and theft of firearm, nothing but heresay in discovery, was picked up and searched right after incedent not found with firearm, saying slide was cocked and pointed and clicked multiple times at “victim” but an automatic pistol does not do that. Never happend and there was never any sort of discharge of firearm or speaking of it by any witness in my discovery. Offered 4 years havent gone to trial yet obviously, pistol was proven empty and says so in every witness statement. The victims testimony changes over and over. Mine and my co defendent are the only that havent changed. Over zealous prosecutor. Is this a weak case?
