Q: Can my buyer realtor bring other clients into bid on a property that I had her bid on for me?
I put a strong bid above asking on a Fannie Mae property through my relator. I found out that my realitor brought an additional client into the bid process after submitting my bid. With the realtor having full knowledge of my bid the other client that was brought in is now in contract on the property. Huge conflict of interest in my mind. Any legal issue here?
A: It depends on whether the realtor signed an agreement with you to be your exclusive buyer agent. Talk to the broker in the agent's office about it.
