A: Legally? I'd say "no." Make sure to have her communicate ONLY IN WRITING going forward.

A: No. It is not reasonable. An agreement is a meeting of the minds. The landlord’s refusal to provide the old lease could be interpreted as superior knowledge and advantage. Insist that the landlord provide the previous lease or retain an attorney. Best of luck.
