A: Generally, the written lease that you signed and the landlord signed will have a provision regarding what methods are acceptable for the payment of rent.

A: If your lease agreement does not specify how rent is to be paid then you can pay how you like as long as it is paid. If your landlord doesn't accept credit cards then you have to pay with a check or cash. But document payment and follow the lease rules about how and when payment is to be made.
