Jefferson, GA asked in Family Law for Georgia

Q: After living on mom and stepfathers land for 23 years and paying taxes, being told its mine can they just evict me.

I didn't do anything. my mom and son who she has always made a difference in got into a screaming match. my son is 32 and weighs about 210. I'm being evicted because I couldn't control my grown son. I've pa taxes since 2006 when both of my boys were out of school. My mobike home is in my mothers name. She can't produce a title. She borrowed the money for the trailer and I mailed the payments every month. Since 1996 I have been told this was my two aceres and had nothing to worry about. Now i'm being evicated because my mom got her feelings hurt.
