Keller, TX asked in Immigration Law for Texas

Q: Possibility of expediting EAD/AP while L1 extension pending

My current situation is this :

L1A Extension received RFE on Feb 1 2019. We are yet to know what is the RFE, as the lawyers are not responding to us. We are on Receipt period of 240 days. We will have to leave US by end of MAY 2019 if timely required actions are not taken by the lawyer.

We have filed of I-485 in NOV 2018, at NBC. Our case is stuck at Fingerprint review done. We are aware that NBC is taking time to issue EAD/AP combo cards. I have read about expediting EAP/AP. We asked our lawyers to help to expedite the EAD and they denied straight away.

1. Can we expedite our I-765/I-131 of pending I-485 by giving the reason as loss of job and financial loss due to pending L1 extension by contacting congressman/senator?

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

A: It is likely that the I-765/I-131 has been approved or will be soon. If your current attorney is not responding to your inquiries, you might want to consider shifting your case to another who can request your file from the first attorney.
