Nanuet, NY asked in Traffic Tickets for New York

Q: ny registered vehicle operating in nj, ticketed for no front plate.

traveling 2pm afternoon sunny day no traffic infractions. I believe NJ cannot enforce NY registration statutes as I have been ticketed for expired safety inspection but showed the statute reflecting their enforcing of only NJ registered vehicles.
