Q: Is the a daycare legally allowed to fire you for false accusations?
A parent accused me of putting my hands on their child. The owner gave me a written write up the next day the parent called the daycare saying that she doesn't feel safe with her child being in the same building as me. Also was threatening to call DCf and the police. The daycare took me off the schedule. They said they are attempting to check the cameras and that the TV isn't working. Their is a witness that was in the room as well when it happened
A: The general rule is that employment is at will: they don't need any reason to fire you.
