Q: If Employer owes back wages in Florida,is aware, but sold the practice &has now moved out of state, is he still liable?

Employer was sent letter with all hours clearly documented requesting to be compensated for hours worked, unpaid. No response. Later found out he has sold the practice and has now moved back to Louisiana. A text message was sent recently again explaining legal remedies would be sought should he not submit pay for hours worked after 3 requests ans documentation provided and to be submitted in 21 days.
