Bowling Green, KY asked in Family Law for Kentucky

Q: My daughter was born back in 2009. Could I still have a case?

My daughter was born a couple weeks early, at the time of her birth she was having difficulties breathing. So the hospital staff put an O2 on her to monitor her breathing levels. The staff told me that if her O2 had dropped under a certain level to let them know. Her oxygen level would drop to 80 at times and a little under, I would tell them that her oxygen levels would drop and they wouldn't do anything about it, the staff basically put the O2 on her but didn't ever check on the levels. So she is now in 3rd grade and has been diagnosed with a LD and is really struggling in school and outside of school. She also gets and SSI payment monthly. I just really need some advice on this.

A: Highly unlikely after all this time. Statute of limitations has probably long expired but you should contact a personal injury attorney just to be sure.
