Asked in Civil Rights and Criminal Law for California

Q: How can a judge preclude evidence of a police officer that is related to a gang member that was murdered?

I filed a pitchess Motion, because Ventura County sheriff's department and gang unit has been harassing and physically mentally abusing since 2013. I know that officer Rodriguez from the gang unit in Ventura county was related to a Peter Nick, a gang member that was shot and killed in 2003. I was arrested with to people in 2013 they believe had something to do with the murder. They threatened me in 2013 it's in my Maranda statement. In 2015 the same gang unit acted on those threats physically and mentally abusing me. And they have went out of there way to convict me. Even though they know I'm innocent. And there's a 3.2 million dollar settlement out of court that officer Rodriguez was also Involved in where they lied about the speed they were going saying 60mph. After investigation they were said to be going over 92mph. If they can lie about almost killing a woman and settle out of court for 3.2 million, that is more evidence and motive to lie. 3 pitchess motion and nothing help
