Asked in Car Accidents

Q: Will I go to jail or get huge penalties for accident with train, or cancel my student visa.

This incident happened in the morning at 4 am, the boom gate was closed at that time, I went through it because I couldn't concentrate due to homesickness and train hit my back of my car. I am unaware of what was happening there. Cops had taken me to mental illness hospital, after 4 days they discharge me. At the incident, cops didn't charge anything, they said see you in court. It was happened 2 months back, up to now didn't receive anything from the police, but I'm getting depressed with that accident, could not concentrate on my studies, not feeling to live anymore. Please anyone there, who can help me. Will it affect my student visa, as it is completely accidental.
