Roanoke, VA asked in Landlord - Tenant for Virginia

Q: While living at this apartment complex. Landlord shares personal info with the 2 workers. They tell other tenants

This has turned into untrue gossip. Also landlord allows drug use. I'm disabled an need grab bars they have put only 1 in out of 3 that's needed. Landlord comes in apartment on anybody's word. Last week I did not answer door for someone because I was sick. The landlord comes in no knock an says someone left things here. Can you get them? So many documented issues. Poor leadership. Drug infested place. Same leadership for 30 plus years. No privacy. Put used parts on gas stoves. Nobody certified for electricity, plumbing, Natural Gas. Short cuts an Slander an laughing at people with disabilities. Me, an Others here at Blue Ridge Manor Vinton Va, 24179. It's so bad I carry cell phone with audio an video on while outside. Total Fear Here. 5 years of total distrust.

A: The situation that you described is very unfortunate but I do not see a question that you posed. Nevertheless, you can call the Office of Housing Code Enforcement in the county or city where you are living and make a formal complaint.
