Q: Good evening. Trying to find divorce decree! I've been married (or i thought) to someone for 21 years
Now he's disable, dealing with ssa
Can't find the divorce decree anywhere from the first marriage

A: Your husband doesn't know what parish in which he was divorced? It should be filed in a parish in which one of them was living at the time the divorce pleadings were filed or in the parish where they last lived together.
