Q: How can I get a cosigner off a car title if they will not sign a POA in Texas
My ex boyfriend and I both signed for my vehicle, which I'm close to paying off. He will not respond to any requests to sign a POA to remove his name. I would like to trade it in or refinance, because I do don't want to pay it off while his name is still on it. I've paid every payment on it since it was purchased. What are my options for next steps to remove his name/interest in the vehicle?
