A: The affair is irrelevant to whether she can file for divorce from bed and board - she could do that for any reason. Of course, the fact that there was an affair makes her case a bit stronger if she decides to go that route. However, filing a divorce from bed and board or duking things out in court in general is basically just paying strangers to make decisions that you and your wife could have made fairly together for free or at very low cost in a formal written separation and property settlement agreement with the guidance of an attorney who has your best interest in mind rather than their wallet. A divorce form bed and board can run $5000 or more a separation agreement which can accomplish the same thing runs $250 for an average couple - you do the math.
