Q: Is it safe to assume my child support obligation will be reduced when my oldest turns 18?
My ex wife is telling me the support will remain the same $1800/month until the youngest turns 18. My court order doesn’t give a dollar amount for each kid, just a total amount. I’ve never heard of such a thing.
A: It will ONLY go down if you hire an attorney to file a Motion (it's called in globo). Otherwise it will be unchanged until your youngest graduates from high school.
