I just switched my education path to Political Science and wondering where I can take it

You could take it to a career in teaching, lawmaking, international affairs, public service, or any number of areas. Law schools accept candidates from all different majors; they focus on grades and LSAT scores. If you pursue law, ten years from now, you could become interested in a legal specialty that makes use of a political science background... or is unrelated to it. It's all up to you and what inspires you. Good luck.
