A: Attorneys fees vary by attorney, based upon their experience and level of expertise. Some, like myself, charge flat fees. Some attorneys charge by the hour. If your divorce is uncontested, that will not cost as much as a contested divorce. It pays to do things correctly, so save for an attorney vs. trying to do it yourself.

A: If you want a divorce you shouldn't let the cost one get in the way. Each attorney charges a different fee. You would need to call around and get rate information. Many attorneys take credit cards, which may be of assistance to you and make paying for it easier. -Homer P. Jordan IV, Esq. 404-620-1558
