Q: A kitten that my daughter abandoned with me

My daughter brought a cat here when he was just a kitten then a couple of days later moved out and moved She moved to a different county this was in November of 2018 i have took are of the cat since and she hasnt had much to do with him at all now she is throwing a fit and threatening to get law enforcement involved if I don't give her the cat she hasn't bought any food or anything at all for him can she just take him or can I keep him here where I know he will be safe a feed good

A: You can keep the kitten. She abandoned him. You might want to take the cat to the vet and have him chipped. That can help establish ownership.
