Q: I got 2 speeding tickets in the last six months. Will my license get suspended?
(Illinois) I got a speeding ticket in June and requested an online driving class. I have not taken the class yet. I just got another ticket in August. How will this affect my driving record? Will I get my license suspended? Can I request supervision? Do I still have to take the class? I am 24 years old.
A: Yes you still have to take the class in order to get Court Supervision on your first ticket. You need to court to court on your second ticket and request Court Supervision. You are allowed two Court Supervisions every 12 months. Court Supervision is not a conviction and will not cause you any issues with your license or insurance.
