Wilmington, NC asked in Traffic Tickets for North Carolina

Q: What will my lawyer do it say to get my tint ticket dismissed?

Received tint ticket in NC. I have no interest in pleading guilty, but nor will I remove it (tint tickets are money making scams, and I paid alot to put it on. I won't pay to take it off to just pay to put it back on a day later). But tint tickets are class 3 misdeamors here, and they've been arresting people left and right for tint in my city, especially if you've had one before (which why I refuse to plead guilty). I may move forward with trying to get a medical exemption due to migraines from light sensitivity, but until that comes to fruition, I'll hire a lawyer. What will my lawyer be able to do to get it dismissed? What can he say or do? Anything?

Also, if I do obtain the medical exemption, will it apply if I got it a week or two after receiving the ticket? I didn't just randomly start getting migraines, but I also didn't know I needed an exemption form, or I would've had it already. But will it do me any good for this particular ticket?
