Undersigned counsel has cross referenced that name with attorneys licensed to
practice law in Arizona and that name is not listed. As Mr. (or Ms.) Soandso is not a
licensed attorney; such a pleading is an unauthorized practice of law. The State
respectfully requests this court strike this filing accordingly.

You need to file an opposition.
If you are facing serious charges, you are taking an enormous risk in representing yourself. Even if you are assigned an overworked public defender, you are better off working with a licensed attorney than "winging it" by yourself.
