Leawood, KS asked in Child Custody for Louisiana

Q: Hello. I have a question in regards to a judge potentially being bought or knowing the defendant in a child custody case

Mother- Has steady work and income history. No criminal record. Has always had custody of the children prior to this matter. Her job relocated her from Louisiana to Arizona so she filed to put the father on child support.

To delay the child support case, he decided to fight for custody and the judge ruled the mother could not take the kids with her until the custody matter was resolved.

Father: No income. No steady work history for the past TEN YEARS. Has a criminal record.

Evidence was presented in court against the father: VIDEO evidence of weekend house parties with alcohol and drugs involved. Found guilty of tampering with utilities because he couldn't pay. School representative testified that the child was on the verge of being put out of school due to the father not waking up in time from long nights of partying to get the child on school on time.

A: Is this case in KS or LA? If it's KS, you need to ask a KS lawyer. If this is LA, it sounds like you already had a hearing. Is thee a decision that needs to be appealed? Get a consultation with a custody lawyer, if you don't already have one.
