We have tenants in a home in Indialantic Florida. Numerous times they have not let us know something was broke or not working properly until the damage was expensive. A faucet leaked into new flooring for 2 days and then they let us know, Cost us $1500 to fix. A few weeks ago the ac compressor went out. They told us there had been issues for 6 months and had never changed a filter. A few days ago the plumbing is having problems and we cant get them to check the breaker for the septic pump. The ac took 2 weeks to fix because of ordering the compressor for our certain ac. They are threatening to not pay rent. There is a golf cart on the property that is not working and on the lease. They have not ever asked for it to be fixed but now its a reason not to pay rent, 6 months into the lease. We have called a golf cart tech and are willing to fix but not if we dont receive rent.
