Dallas, TX asked in Consumer Law for Texas

Q: I used to have bad credit, but over the years they have dropped off and now I have a good credit score.

I recently received a letter from the court about two credit cards that I had defaulted in the past. They are not even on my credit report anymore. Should I still go to court? I called the court and was told the judge is cleaning up his books not sure what that means.

A: Take the letter to a lawyer for a consultation.
