Q: Parental rights

In the state of ga if I sign my rights away will I still have to pay child support ? I am court ordered to pay now .We have not did a legitimization yet and she will not let me see my daughter but she wants me some rights away ...

A: You will still have to pay child support unless she is legally adopted by a stepfather. If you go through the legitimation process you will have legal rights to her and be able to visit her.
