Lexington, KY asked in Criminal Law for Kentucky

Q: can A dist judge sign a SW out of their dist? Can inventory return list be removed and rewritten after filed?

Alleged crime occurred June 2016 -October 2016.

Allegedly on video surveillance in cornfield cultivating marijuana district judge signed search warrant to look for alleged clothing and marijuana that was worn / seen in surveillance footage for defendants residence that’s 2 counties away from cornfield and also in a different district. Search warrant nor affidavit has never been filed in the county executed in the clerks office. It was filed in the county that signed the warrant. Also on the inventory return list that was filed has been changed at least 3 times during the first year or two. Had to go pick up a copy of search warrant on different occasion but each time the inventory list would be rewritten ...a cops signature was added but the inventory would be the same just neater handwriting .i would also like to add that the plant samples from alleged marijuana was taken from grow in early July but not sent of to lab for analysis until after search warrant was executed end Oct
