Q: Careless Operation Ticket in Louisiana
I received a Careless Operation ticket based on a supposed call the officer received (which is absolutely bogus). He claimed he got several calls I was running people off the road and that’s why he pulled me over. Even though he didn’t see me do any of this I received a ticket. Should I go to court or pay it?
A: You can pay an attorney or you can pay the ticket. The ticket will result in a moving violation which will raise your insurance for 5 years.
