Q: An insurance company sued me back in 2002 and blocked me from getting my license. How do I find out who they were?
No one remembers the court or insurance company. The DPS said I could get a form that could release me from the debt due to the age since it is over 10 years old. This all happened in Collin County in the city of Plano, Texas. I am trying to get my license back after 17 years.
A: The DPS should have the contact information of the judgment creditor. It us true, however, thar you can remove the holds on your license if the judgement has remained dormant for 10 years. Contacting an attorney would help. Good luck
