Greensburg, PA asked in Traffic Tickets for Pennsylvania

Q: Can you be cited by mail for something that was recorded vs an officer actually seeing it themselves in PA

Driving down road on motorcycle, get cut off by passerby, words exchanged, I cut back in front of him and break as he was on my tail. Officer comes over explains that the gentleman who ctmut me off recorded whole ordeal without audio and officer says he could cite me for many things but will only mail me a citation in mail for non use of eyewear while operating a motorcycle.

A: The tape is evidence --consider a porch pirate whose actions are caught on camera. Doesn't mean they can't be charged. I'd take the eyewear ticket. Or you can fight a long protracted fight and maybe face a points violation.
