Q: my house was demolished by the city, without notifying me of any corrections needed or the condemnation order.

is there any recourse for me?

A: First you need to perform a title search and also check where the tax assessor is sending tax notices to. That should disclose where any code letters were sent. You may possibly be able to sue the city for a tort , but it would probably be a government tort liability act case, which few lawyers even know exists. I recommend hiring a competent attorney to look into it, and then decide if it is worth looking into.
