A: You really need to discuss your issues with an experienced employment lawyer. You can find good ones by looking up the California Employment Lawyer's Association (CELA) and going to their website (https://cela.org/index.cfm). You can cut and paste this link into your browser, or simply Google the association's name. I believe you can also look up their member attorneys right on the website. I suggest you document everything which happened to you, in the form of a chronology of events, and list the names and phone numbers of all witnesses. Save all documents you have from your employer, because you will need all that information to provide to whichever lawyer you have help you.

A:
You have a right to be paid your final paycheck on the day you are terminated and if you can prove the employer has willfully failed to provide that final paycheck you are also entitled to Waiting Time Penalties equal to one day of pay for each day you are made to wait for that final check, up to a total of 30 additional days of pay.
Other than that, nothing in your post suggests unlawful conduct by your employer. You are considered to be employed at will unless you have an agreement with the employer to the contrary. The employer of an at will employee can be terminated for any reason or even no reason at all. You are not entitled to advanced notice, or warnings, nor does the employer have to cite to any handbook or other policy violations.
Good luck to you.
