A: No. This is not a legal question. She is your parent. When you are an adult and can support yourself, are 18 and out of high school, you can make decisions on your own, but you are also responsible for the outcome of those decisions.

Late teenage years are difficult, but your parents have more life experience. Generally it's a good idea to see where they are coming from. You'll be ahead of your peers.

A: If your mother does her job as a parent properly you will prefer what local cops do to over what your mother will do to you if you leave without permission.
