I bought land from an individual last year, I paid cash money & she ensured me that she could type of the deed. Me not really knowing the importance of the lawyer(but I do now !!) I said ok & she did so. I went to courthouse & filed it. 6 months later I decided to sell through a Realty company, Its been one issue after next with this property, lost 2 potential buyers & now therevis issue with easement.Well she was supposed to have filed the easement 20 years ago & didnt ,now 5 of her relatives (1 she hasn't seen or talked too in 30 years and cant find) have to sign the paper giving up rights.I am living in very bad situation & I am stuck there because I dont have money to mive due to this. I messaged her & told her how bad my living situation was & that I am going to wind up homeless before it sells & would she buy property back at cost. They own a farm , 200 acres, tractors, campers, but she dont have the money. if she cant find her relatives we have to go through court. Options 4 me

A: You have not identified what your problems are. But I suspect access to the property and derivation of title will be definitely part of your title problems. This was not something to do without a lawyer. Even if you are able to sue for breach of warranties, it is doubtful it will actually help. Hire a competent lawyer, and possibly a surveyor, to clear title to the land. Or let it go to a tax sale, where it may be cheaper to buy back or let go.
