Sulphur, LA asked in Family Law and Child Custody for Louisiana

Q: I have a 2 year old son, i live in louisiana his biological father lives in texas.

Im the only one on the birth certificate. His biological father has never met him, his biological father has never contacted me since he was born but recently ive heard that he was gonna bring me to court for paternity and custody. I have text message proof from him and multiple people where he threatened me multiple times, admitted that he tried to punch me in my stomach multiple times while pregnant. Is there any way that a judge would grant any type of custody to him? Im scared for mine and my sons life and I have been since I left him during pregnancy.

A: Yrs it is entirely possible that he will end up on the birth certificate and with some.visitation. you need to hire a custody lawyer.
