Q: My husbands and his ex have a pending custody case for 50-50 time sharing. She’s trying to move. Detail below.
She’s trying to move out of state to TN from KY and take their 10 year old daughter. We filed an objection to her intent to relocate and haven’t yet heard back about it. We have heard she’s selling furniture online and also have other clues that she’s trying to move today. What will happen if we catch her moving even though we have a custody case and an objection filed to it? She also has a 3 year old daughter from a previous marriage and they already have 50/50 time sharing and joint custody.
A: If she moves prior to the court ruling, the court will not be pleased with that.
