Irving, TX asked in Family Law and Child Custody for Texas

Q: My CPS investigator recommended FBSS, should I agree?

My son's great grandmother took him for a hair follicle, without my consent. He tested positive and she called CPS. The investigation has been open for almost 90 days with little contact from the investigator. They asked me to leave the home, leaving my son with his great grandmother. I have yet to sign anything. He sent me for a substance abuse screening and they did not refer me to a long-term treatment to facility like he was wanting, they referred me to outpatient rehab. He left a voicemail while I was at work saying he is recommending FBSS, if I agree? I am not sure if I should agree because as I understand some FBSS cases do not have a time limit and can continue for years. I just want to complete my outpatient rehab and bring my son home.
