Q: need advice about a pending legitmation case regarding my daughter .

i am in a legitmation case regarding my daughter the judge is asking me to provide a copy of the birth certificate but the mother kept me from signing it at birth so i can not get a copy of it and i have tried..and the mother and i no longer talk.. so should i write a letter to the judge telling him that?..how do i go about responding to the judge in a letter to e file....he is also asking me to give a reason why legitimation is appropriate and it is in the best intrest of the child...so i was wondering what should i say in the letter? i am not a good writing letters..the case is in clayton county ga case number 2019DR01870
