Q: Hello I Have A Son in juvinille detention he is 14 years old he was on probation for runaways nothing past an hour or

This time he made a bad disition in not getting in the bus instead got picked up from a freind then droped off at a house with another freind where cops where looking for some guys who had stollen a truck when they saw him they took him blaming him off stealing never was involved he doesn't even drive there are witnesses who know it was not him he was in that house the whole morning waching tv what can i do they want to charge him with felony and it wasent him and his probation officer only met him 1 time and wants to place him in a detention for something he did not commit what can i do

A: You can either hire an attorney to represent your son, or you can wait for the Court to appoint an attorney to represent him. Please understand, however, that unless you were present at the incident, the police version of the story and what your son is telling you may be different. Good luck.
