Q: My husband's sis took custody of my daughter after six service got involved. I owe child support but husband doesn't.
The sister had custody now we have partial she's primary. She told judge she wanted me to pay child support but not him bc he has another child. How can I be liable but not him?
A: The Court is probably considering his support as coming from his family if they allow that, although generally both parents are ordered to contribute the support of the child if the child is out of the custody of both parents.
