Q: Pharmacist told me today that I need to buy Narcan by next month or will she will not fill prescription which she has

Today my pharmacist tells me that because of two medications that I'm taking I do take a narcotic pain medication as I've had 4 back surgeries three of which have been in the last 2 years anyways she tells me that I have to buy Narcan by next month or she will not fill my prescription even though it's been fine for the lasts a year my doctors know what medications I'm on I am on medication for PTSD everybody knows what a month and has no issue can she legally tell me that I need Narcan when my doctors don't and refuse to fill my prescriptions and furthermore has caused a headache over GoodRx I won't even go into all that but the same type of deal been filling prescriptions for almost a year no problem and all the suddenly now it's changing doesn't want to accept the GoodRx this all takes place at Winn-Dixie in Florida Citrus County to be precise I have also open the case with corporate what other measures should I take not sure if this is legal what she's doing

A: Unless the pharmacist is a wacko, she's likely making that statement due to something she sees on her computer system for your medical instructions. It's doubtful that she would be risking her license by lying to you. Have you tried another pharmacy? If a second pharmacy says the same thing, then you'll know it's not that pharmacist's fault. Then you need to discuss it with your doctor, so your doctor can get to the bottom of it.
