Q: What happens in a marriage that has only lasted 9 months

We have been married 9 months. Only have two things in both of our names. I have paid off some of her student loans and credit cards with money I had before we were married. If I am willing to give up my rights to the house and the RV we own. Would she still be entitled to my retirement, savings, or be granted maintenance?

A: Yes, she would. It needs to be mediated between the two of you so no one gets screwed, accidentally or otherwise.

A: Same as happens in any other divorce. She is entitled to 1/2 of any amounts earned between the date of the marriage and the date of dissolution. Likely no maintenance bc of the short duration.
